Although it is still very much wintertime, Spring is most definitely around the corner. And with Spring comes a change to your fashion color palette... or at least there should be.
The winter months call for dark, rich, and warm colors like black, gray, maroon, brown, etc. I usually add a splash of color here and there with my Arm Candy bracelets, necklaces, or earrings, and of course, my shoes.
But when Spring comes around, it's time to break out the brighter colors like yellow, purple, red, teal, etc. And that's exactly what I plan to do.
So, if you're a bit scared or don't know how to start adding more color to your wardrobe, don't worry...I've got your back!
1. Start Small
If you are used to wearing the same color palette day in and day out, start small. For example, if black is your go to, throw on an electric blue or bright red belt. You can even wear brilliant yellow earrings or another pop of color on your wrist. You don't have to go crazy, just make it bold.
2. Choose A Color That Brightens Your Mood
Well, not literally, of course. Everyday we start off in a different state of mind or a different mood and colors can really have a great impact on both of those things.
On gloomy days, I like to wear colors that really contrast with the depressing gray of the outside. So, I'll choose a cheery teal color or even lime green, both of which make me happy when I see them.
I may wear a silk scarf, a cardigan, or necklace with those colors to boost my mood throughout the day. And you never know, the choice in colors might also help brighten someone else's day!
3. Try Mixing Colors You Don't Normally Wear Together
If you really want to be daring, mix and match colors that you've never worn together before. A few of my favorite combos are turquoise and brown, orange and yellow, green and purple.
I know, I know. Seems crazy, right? If you put just the right combination of great colors together, it will change how you approach your style.
Trust me when I tell you, you will look fabulous and you could become the office trendsetter!
So as Spring approaches and you make changes to how you see color in your everyday style, Arm Candy will also be making some changes for the Spring.
There will be so many vibrant and exotic stones added to the mix, you won't be able to stand it! I can't wait to debut it next month just in time for Valentine's day and just in time for you to grab a few pieces before Spring begins in March.
So what are some colors you plan to add to your Spring color palette?
